Although I don't rate myself as super skilful on the lathe, with different methods I usually manage to produce the shape and finish I am after. The thing that I enjoy most about lathe work is that the project usually only has one piece that can be both shaped and have the finish applied while turning. (Its Quick)

Hey, I need two more piano keyboard legs just like this old one, is that possible? I don't know but I can give it a try. Quite often lathe work is making a one off freeform object but the degree of difficulty goes up when you have to replicate, especially if they are going to live in a situation where they are comparable.
